the objective

Greyhound James wanted something to give to the audience, at the end of the concerts. He also wanted to include a little teaser to announce the EP releasing. So me and him come up with this idea of a doggy bag, only instead of food for people, it had dog dry food, so they could feed their hounds.

the objective

An album artwork for the band’s first EP, digital format. I was carving the linoleum and was very pleased with the way the fresh cuts were looking, almost like sand or mud, so photographed it. Later, when the EP was being prepared, I realised I had to use that image, the new start of the band vs the fresh cut of the linoleum.

the objective

A logo for The Greyhound James’ Band. Classic rock, blues, soul and spaghetti rock are Greyhound James’ genre. He wanted a classic rock vibe to the logo that would incorporate the greyhound. The name is very long, so had to divide it four ways. I also wanted to put it altogether in a circle, because of the digital platforms. The main challenge was not to give in to the temptation of putting this well known runner, running. Now, I wouldn’t imagine it any other way. His ribs helped though.
